Energy Cleanse
How can I cleanse the energy of my new home?
My husband and I are going to be closing on our new home within a week, but we have had loads of bad luck going thru the buying process and closing has been pushed back nearly 8 weeks. This is a short sale which in short means that the current residents owe more than the house is worth and the bank is willing to eat the loss. The house itself has also had some bad luck while on the market, it was to close on several different occasions with other buyers but fell thru in the last days. I am terrified that the bad luck and energy from the sale and the previous owners will follow us into our life in this house, and with all of the cost of buying a home I would rather not pay someone to cleanse the energy of the house especially if there is a way that I can do it myself.
So if anyone can tell me how you cleanse the energy from a house I would greatly appreciate it.

First smudge yourself. I prefer sweet grass, but you can use sage if you prefer.
Using a broom, “sweep” the negative energy out of each room, going in a clock wise direction. (Not litterally sweeping the entire area) Saying or thinking ‘I cleanse this space of all negative energy.’ (or whatever you feel is right or apropriate for you)
Sprinkle salt around the perimeter of each room going clockwise again. (You don’t have to use a whole container of salt, just a few grains.) Say or think ‘I purify this space so no negative energy may return.’ (again, whatever feels right for you)
Smudge each room, clockwise with the smudge of your choice. Say or think ‘bless this space with positive white light’ (you get the idea, right?)
